Locums OB-GYN Opportunity with Flexible Schedule in Illinois

Want to make a tangible impact without a long-term commitment? We have an ongoing locum tenens opportunity for an OB-GYN to provide in-house call coverage in Iowa. This assignment offers a flexible schedule and allows you to work multiple shifts per month on an ongoing basis.

Practice Setting

• 150-bed, full-service acute care medical center
• Focused on obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Support from a full range of inpatient and outpatient services
• Lab and pharmacy services are available onsite
• Daily patient volume includes 10-15 triages plus deliveries

Schedule

• In-house call coverage with 24-hour shifts
• Need is for 6-8 shifts per month on an ongoing basis
• Opportunity to work multiple consecutive shifts

Procedures and Cases

• Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Circumcisions
• Emergency gynecologic cases
• Inpatient consultations

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB-GYN
• Active IL license or Open to IMLC Physicians
• Experienced in handling obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Experience with inpatient consultations and deliveries
• Clean malpractice history is preferred

Travel accommodations

• All travel is covered, including flights and lodging
• Rental car provided for the duration of the assignment
• Mileage can be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate
