Requirements
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, including high-risk pregnancies and obstetrical emergencies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Committed to high-quality, patient-centered care
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Conduct prenatal visits and manage routine and high-risk pregnancies
- Monitor labor and perform deliveries, including cesarean sections
- Conduct gynecologic exams, screenings, and minor procedures
- Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions
- Document visits and maintain medical records
- Coordinate care with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare providers
- Educate patients on reproductive health and treatment plans
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- On-call coverage for deliveries or emergencies as needed
