The VCU Health Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is seeking qualified candidates for an open rank faculty position.Both experienced physicians and those currently in fellowship programs are encouraged to apply.The successful candidate will join our busy clinical team consisting of two physicians and one advanced practice provider. The position will include participation in student and resident education.Participation in the department's clinical research activities is available to applicants with research interests.
The mission of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is to provide the highest quality clinical care in both specialty and subspecialty Obstetrics and Gynecology to the women of central Virginia. In addition to the clinical mission, the department has the allied goals of providing undergraduate and graduate medical education and advancing the field through basic and clinical research.
The REI division provides full spectrum care for male and female infertility and reproductive endocrine disorders.In addition, the division provides onco-fertility services and is developing a donor oocyte program.Our new clinical facility includes a state-of-the-art embryology laboratory staffed by four embryologists and an on-site laboratory director.Our faculty have access to three ambulatory surgical centers as well as the main operating room at VCU Health.
Candidates must have completed an ABOG or ACGME accredited fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and be eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
